Young Farmers all set to put on their dancing shoes

16 January 2019

CO Down Young Farmers will swap their wellie boots for dancing shoes this Saturday night at the Crowne Plaza at Shaw’s Bridge, Belfast, for a Strictly Come Dancing event all of their own.

Strictly Young Farmers 2019 will see ten couples from Young Farmers’ clubs across the province take part in the glitzy event and see them jive, foxtrot and samba their way to victory in the hotly anticipated dance-off.

After the success of previous events, the couples taking part this year know only too well the level of stiff competition they will meet in the final on Saturday evening. They have been practicing hard for months with the hope of being crowned Strictly YFC champions.

Co Down Young Farmers, who are organising the event, say they are delighted to have Barclays bank on board for this monumental night. Proceeds will be split between Alzheimer’s Society and Co Down Young Farmers clubs.

Only a few tickets tickets remain and they can be obtained by contacting the Co Down YFC Committee, the Co Down Young Farmers’ Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/countydownyoungfarmers/ or from any local Young Farmers’ club.
