TWO people were treated in hospital following a three-vehicle crash on the Ballydugan Road, Downpatrick, on Thursday afternoon.
One patient was taken to Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast and another was ferried to Downe Hospital for treatment. The condition of those injured was not reported as serious.
The closure of the road in both directions caused local congestion as police carried out an investigation.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 12.45pm with two ambulance crews despatched to take care of the injured.
The road was reopened around 3.30pm.
