20 March 2019

A NINE year-old Crossgar girl is having her long hair cut on Saturday to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Rebecca Thompson, is a pupil at Holy Family Primary School in Teconnaught.

Her family are close friends of Jen Banks and her son, Lorcán, and want to support the charity which is campaigning to get the life-extending drug orkambi made available on the NHS.

She has raised nearly £400 so far and will get getting her waist-length hair cut into a short bob at the Beehive Salon in Downpatrick.
