TWO Northern Ireland Water staff members from Castlewellan will be part of the organisation’s relay teams taking part in next month’s Belfast Marathon.
Dean Campbell and Catriona Turley will be helping raise funds for the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland during the event which will see two NI Water teams taking part.
NI Water’s Peter McNamee said the company was very proud to have volunteers running to represent their chosen charity during the annual marathon.
He said the Air Ambulance was a relatively new charity and needed to raise £2m every year in order to bring urgent medical assistance to patients anywhere in Northern Ireland, seven days a week, 12 hours a day.
Peter added: “We ask all our colleagues, families and friends to support our fundraising for Air Ambulance and welcome all donations to support this very worthy cause.”
Anyone who would like to support Dean and Catriona and other members of the team is asked to log on to www.justgiving.com/fundraising/peter-mcnamee7.
