Open day at charity centre in Newcastle

21 August 2019

DAISY Lodge is hosting an open day at its Cancer Fund for Children’s therapeutic centre, in Newcastle next Tuesday.

Daisy Lodge CEO Phil Alexander said the Cancer Fund for Children provided families with a therapeutic short break allowing them to spend much-needed time together, far removed from the pressures of cancer treatments.”

Phil will be hosting the open day and would be delighted to give tours of Daisy Lodge and Narnia Log Cabin.

“With the introduction of midweek hospitality packages, when families are not staying at Daisy Lodge, local businesses are also very welcome to attend to see the full suite of facilities on offer,” he said.

“We are grateful for the support of the public and ask they continue to join with us to ensure we can be ‘together through cancer’ with young people and their families.

“Over the next year I want to connect with as many of you as possible and this open day, will be the first of a number scheduled throughout the year.

Anyone wishing to attend the open day should contact Joan Burden at joan@cancerfundforchildren.com or telephone 028 4372 4212.
