Mrs Magdalene Halpin

DOWNPATRICK woman Magdalene Halpin passed away late last month.

Mrs Halpin, known best as Madeline, passed away at her home at Glebetown Drive. She was 74.

She is survived by her husband Henry Halpin and their son Anthony. A former home help, she enjoyed socialising, music and dancing.

Mrs Halpin’s funeral mass was held at St Colmcille’s Church in Downpatrick, on July 27 at noon.

Fr Liam Toland officiated at the service.
