Mrs Agnes Wylie

THE passing of Mrs Agnes Rose Wylie, of 1 Malone Crescent, Downpatrick, in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, at the age of 69 has been widely mourned.

Mrs Wylie was a retired nurse who devoted herself to the care of others, whether patients or members of her family, whom she adored.

Mrs Wylie had a strong Christian faith and was an avid member of the Adoration Chapel and St Agnes’ prayer group.

She is survived by her husband, Cormac, children Cormac, Damien, Louise, Lisa and Johnathan, grandchildren, Katie-Lee, Ellen, Anna, Cormac and Eva, brothers, sisters and their partners — Kyran and Carol, Deirdre, John and May, Valerie and Barry, Margaret and Paddy, Raymond and Eileen, Olga, Hugh and Jane, Regina and Liam — her extended family and friends.

The Very Rev Fr John Murray, PP, conducted the funeral mass in St Patrick’s Church, Downpatrick, on September 18, which was followed by interment in Holy Family Cemetery, Teconnaught.
