Mr Glynn Roberts

MR Glynn Paul Roberts, who passed away recently at his home, 49 Arkle Park, Downpatrick, was a hard-working family man and will be sadly missed. He was 71.

A plasterer by trade, Mr Roberts had a passion for music and was a talented guitarist. He loved socialising and travelling the world.

He is survived by his wife, Bridgett, children Cathy, Emma, Ciara and David, and by his grandchildren, who wrote the following poem in his memory:

‘We had a wonderful granda, who never grew old

A smile full of sunshine and a heart full of gold.

A wonderful granda and that’s the way it will be

Watching over us with his guitar on his knee.

Your life was love and hard working and so much love for your family,

You did your best for all of us and that we’ll do for you.’

Interment was at Struell Cemetery.
