Mr Charles Rutledge

MR Charles Thomas Rutledge, of Moss Road, Ballynahinch, passed away on July 16.

He was 82 years-old.

Mr Rutledge is survived by his wife Margaret, three sons David, Colin and Richard, and three grandchildren Erin, Ryan and Francesca.

His funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Jim Briggs at Edengrove Presbyterian Church, Ballynahinch, on July 21.

Mr Rutledge was a science teacher in Ballynahinch High School for 37 years and his many interests included photography, motor cycling, gardening and woodworking.

A founder member of Ballynahinch Camera Club, for nine years he was a judge and photographer for the Ulster in Bloom competition organised by Translink.

Mr Rutledge was also on the Board of Governors of Ballynahinch Primary School and Ballynahinch High School.
