Kathryn aims for gold at Gateshead

BALLYGOWAN swimmer Kathryn Glover is out to make waves this week at the World Transplant Games in Gateshead.

Thirty-eight year-old Kathryn, a member of Ards Swimming Club, will compete in the 50m freestyle swim, 50m and 100m breaststroke and the 50m and 100m backstroke.

She is extremely grateful for the support received from the Ards and North Down Sports Forum and Ards and North Down Brough Council in preparation for the games and was recently the recipient of a Gold Card.

This entitles individuals who are training for a specific event to complimentary use of leisure facilities within the Ards and North Down Borough Council area.
