THREE young Drumaroad sisters have sacrificed their long hair to raise £910 to help other children with cancer.
Keva (15), Holly (11) and nine year-old Chloe Milligan each donated 20 inches of their hair and the cash to the Little Princess Trust which provides real-hair wigs for children and young people undergoing cancer treatment.
The daughters of Paddy and Antoinette Milligan, the sisters got their new look curtesy of stylist Aideen Rogan from Castlewellan.
Paddy said: “The girls were a bit dubious at first about getting their hair cut but now they love it. We are very proud of the money they have raised.”
Keva and Chloe are students of St Malachy’s High School in Castlewellan while Chloe attends St Francis’ Primary School in Drumaroad.
