Downpatrick Lions’ 20th charity calendar on sale

DOWNPATRICK Lions Club has officially launched its 2020 calendar.

The fabulous new publication features an array of nostalgic photographs of people and places of the town and local area.

It is the 20th calendar to be published by the Lions Club to raise funds for charities and is currently on sale, available from club members and at the Ballymote Centre.

The calendar is also available from a number of Downpatrick businesses including Tom’s Wine Barrel and Tel’s Newsagent in St Patrick’s Avenue, the Oakley Fayre in Market Street, Flixx Graphics in Irish Street and the St Patrick Centre.

Lions officials say the new calendar would make an ideal Christmas gift for friends or family, at home or abroad, and are grateful for the generosity of local people. All monies raised will go towards supporting the club’s various fundraising initiatives.
