Downpatrick Lions Club’s gratitude to local community

SIR, — Can I take this opportunity to thank all of those living in the Downpatrick area and further afield who purchased a Lions 2012 calendar.

The calendar depicting Downpatrick scenes from a bye gone era has proven to be very successful and we are grateful for all the support received.

Next year Downpatrick Lions Club celebrates its 40th anniversary and I know we can rely on your continuing generosity during 2012.

There are still a small number of calendars left and these can be purchased from Flixx Graphics or the Oakley Fayre. May I wish all your readers a prosperous 2012.
