THE Beyond Business Week will get underway at Downpatrick Racecourse later this month. The aim of the week, which gets underway on Monday, April 22, is to support local businesses by giving them the opportunity to showcase their business and services to potential customers. The events will also showcase the range and variety of support available to local businesses, along with providing networking and development opportunities for all.

There will be more than 15 specialist events, seminars and workshops across the district. Talks will be provided by expert  speakers on the issues facing businesses in the current economic climate, as well as making them aware of their legislative requirements.

The highlights will include business advice clinics, speed mentoring, a full day Business Expo on Thursday, April 25, and it is open to anyone in business, doing business, or considering going into business in the district.

All events are suitable for one person businesses through to those employing up to 250 people and open to sole traders, partnership businesses, limited companies, social economy businesses and community groups operating on full or part time basis from all business sectors.
