CRCP thanks for assistance

SIR, — Comber Regeneration Community Partnership (CRCP) wishes to convey a special thank you to everyone who helped to make the BMX Stunt Event by Thunder Action Sports a thrilling evening in Comber.

CRCP wishes to express sincere appreciation to Ards and North Down Borough Council for making funding available to run this event which is a ‘first’ for Comber.

CRCP is a small voluntary group of local Comber people, so we need additional support during events to set up gazebos, take them down, move barriers and cones, pick up litter, stewarding and so on.

We want to thank the six volunteers from Comber Boxing Club, Colin and Stephen from Ballydrain Harriers, John Dawson from Comber Rotary, Mervyn Pickering, Irene Kirk, Lorna and Lindsay Smith, Jill Cowan and Janice, Rachel-Ludlow Williams and Richard for offering their help. We could not run such events unless we had people who offer their hands-on help.

Also thank you to PSNI and St Johns for their assistance at this event.

If you missed the event, have a look at photographs and videos on Comber Regeneration Community Partnership Facebook page.

Yours etc,

LIZ HAMILTON,

CRCP.
