Tara gets hair cut and helps a good cause

1 July 2015

A LOCAL schoolgirl has had her flowing locks cut in aid of the Little Princess Trust.

Seven year-old Tara McKibben, had around nine inches cut off her hair in aid of the charity which provides real hair wigs for boys and girls across the UK and Ireland who have sadly lost their own hair through cancer treatment.

Tara, who enters Primary 4 this September, was very proud of her beautiful long hair but had it cut  in order to help other children undergoing cancer treatment which has resulted in them losing their own hair.

The Little Princess Trust also requires funding to purchase wigs, with Tara raising £480 for the charity, with the figure increasing to £537 via Gift Aid.
