Ciara loses her locks to help cancer organisation

CIARA McMullan has chopped her locks for the Little Princess Trust.

The 10 year-old from Clonvaraghan has always had long hair but decided to part with it for the charity which provides real-hair wigs to children undergoing cancer treatment.

Mum Bernie said she was surprised but pleased by Ciara’s decision.

“She never wanted to get it trimmed so when she asked me if she could get it cut to make a wig I was very shocked,” she said. “After looking in to it I found this charity.

“So far she has also raised £600 which is getting close to the cost of making two wigs at £700.”
