Bob on top after lifting Hot Spot

WITH two separate liberation days from Navan on Friday and Sunday, and totally different wind conditions, Harmony Lofts decided to have two Hot Spot races at the weekend

Taking top spot in Friday’s race was the excellent partnership of Bingham & Seaton with a velocity of 1353. Next place went to Spence Bros., of Lisburn, with a velocity of 1352, and Bingham & Seaton were also third with a velocity of 1352. Prizes are £50, £30, £20.

Sunday’s race winner was Downpatrick fancier Bob Connolly , whose blue pied Gaby hen clocked 1619.

Close behind was the Crossgar loft of top racers McCartan & Woodside with a velocity of 1618, winning £30. . Ciaran McManus of Tyrella took the final spot and £20 with a velocity of 1574.
