Ballynahinch Rugby Club summer ball

BALLYNAHINCH Rugby Club’s Mid-Summer Ball was held at the La Mon House Hotel and Country Club on Saturday night.

Over 220 members and guests attended the end of season gala event to celebrate another great season for Ballynahinch RFC in Division 1 of the All Ireland League and across all the leagues that the club’s men, ladies, youth and mini teams compete.

Guests included Mark Murnin, chairman of Newry, Mourne and Down Council, his wife, Michelle, and many of the club sponsors including main sponsor Patrick and Emily Hutley, of Motis Freight Ferry Services, and Colin Carlisle, of Carryduff Concrete.

An excellent evening was finished off with a fundraising ‘Pink and Blue’ draw, an auction of sports memorabilia and dancing to the fantastic Johnny Bravo and the Riviera.

The club wishes to thank the organising team of David Workman, Haydn Gibson, Clem Bassett and Richard Hart, and all who attended.
